The course book, "HOW TO MAKE SENSE OF GOD" by John Wijngaards. This book, which was published by Sheed & Ward in the USA, contains 340 pages text and 50 cartoons. In 1996 it won a CPA Journalism Award in Philadelphia.
The five-part video film JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF LOVE. This the story of two young people who seek God. We share their fears, their arguments, their doubts and discoveries. The film won the Grand Prix award at Warsaw in 1995.
Five Home Study Guides which explain how to follow the course step -by-step.
The course also offers advice and guidance to participants through personal correspondence with confidential tutors.

Who or what is behind this course?

This course for study at home is offered to you by Housetop, a Catholic Charity in London. Though we have to ask for a minimal registration fee to cover some of our costs, this is not a commercial venture for us. We know that many people are searching for God. We also know that many believers are trying to re-define their image of God.

We passionately endorse the progress that we, human beings, have made in the past centuries. We cherish the freedoms our ancestors have fought for. We treasure the quality of life made possible through science and technology. But we are convinced that all this is meaningless unless we, as individuals and as a human family, hold on to our belief in God.

We are not religious fanatics. We do not promote any new fangled ideas. We firmly stand in the ancient Christian tradition. We want to share with you our conviction that the old beliefs, tested and re-formulated in the light of present-day knowledge. retain their validity and importance today.

We value human dignity and freedom as one of our highest goods. If you join our course, you will not be coerced into thinking or doing anything against your will. We assure you that we will fully respect your own opinions and decisions. We will treat all correspondence with total confidentiality.

At the moment we are only able to offer this course on a normal basis for residents in the UK. We request £ 30 as total fee, unless you are not able to pay for whatever valid reason.
