The Tenth International Catholic Film Festival held in Warsaw (18-23 May 1995) has awarded its GRAND PRIX to Housetop's TV Film Journey to the Centre of Love.

The citation reads:

"The Grand Prix of the Festival is awarded to Journey to the Centre of Love for its profound description of the process by which people of various cultures and nations discover Christian faith, and so come to approach God and his Son Jesus Christ."

Fr. John Wijngaards of Housetop, who is both the scriptwriter and executive producer of the film, expressed his satisfaction. "The citation makes a point", he said. "The Grand Prix recognises by implication the film's professional quality, but the prize is specifically given for the treatment of the journey of faith, one of the most difficult realities to present with sensitivity."

JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF LOVE is a 2 1/2 hour story (3 episodes of 50 minutes each). It sketches the journey of faith of two young people: an Englishman ("Martin" in London) and a Chinese lady ("Wan Chen" in Taipei). The film portrays our search for God in the midst of a modern, technological world.
